ART ~ Accelerated Resolution Therapy

ART is a unique approach to psychotherapy. ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is used to treat a variety of mental health issues, particularly those related to trauma and emotional distress. It's often used for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other conditions. ART can also be helpful for pain management, memory enhancement, and other psychological challenges. 

SFBT ~Solution Focused Brief Therapy

SFBT concentrates on finding solutions in the present and exploring one’s hope for the future in order to find a quick and pragmatic resolution of one’s problems. This method takes the approach that you know what you need to do to improve your own life and, with the appropriate coaching and questioning, are capable of finding the best solutions. Solution-focused brief therapy can be helpful for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues and coping with changes in life. It can help individuals of any age, or couples, families and groups.

CBT ~ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT  is a structured, time-limited psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. It is commonly used to treat various health issues, such as anxiety and depression, helping individuals develop coping strategies and improve their emotional regulation. Practical exercises and discussions, empowers clients to challenge their beliefs and reframe their thinking leading to healthier behaviors and improved mental well-being. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used to treat a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress. It can also be helpful for managing physical health conditions like chronic pain and insomnia. 

DBT ~ Dialectical Behavior Therapy

DBT is a type of psychotherapy that helps individuals manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and reduce self-harming behaviors. It emphasizes the dialectical approach, which involves accepting and changing behaviors, thoughts, and emotions simultaneously. Dialectical Behavior Therapy is particularly effective for individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD) and other conditions characterized by emotional deregulation. 

REBT ~ Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

REBT is primarily used to help individuals manage their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors by challenging and changing irrational beliefs. It's a form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that focuses on the connection between our cognitions, emotions, and behaviors. Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy is used to address irrational beliefs and negative thought patterns that contribute to various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, anger management problems, and addiction. It helps individuals identify and challenge these unhelpful beliefs, replacing them with more rational and constructive thinking to improve emotional well-being and behavior. 

PCIT ~ Parent-Child Interaction Therapy

PCIT is an evidence-based therapy that helps improve the relationship between children and their caregivers, particularly for children with emotional or behavioral challenges. It focuses on coaching caregivers on how to interact positively and effectively with their children, while also teaching the child new skills and behaviors. PCIT is often used for children between the ages of 2 and 7.  Parent-Child Interaction Therapy can be used with various caregivers, including birth parents, adoptive parents, and foster parents. 

MBCT ~ Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy

MBCT is a form of psychotherapy that combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness meditation practices. It's designed to help individuals, particularly those with a history of depression, to manage their thoughts and emotions by cultivating present-moment awareness and a non-judgmental attitude towards their experiences. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy is particularly helpful for individuals with a history of recurrent depression and those seeking to prevent relapse or manage residual symptoms. It's also beneficial for those experiencing generalized anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, and other forms of emotional distress. Additionally, MBCT can be beneficial for those with physical health conditions that contribute to depression, such as chronic pain or vascular disease.
